About

SWOP! is directly inspired by Swap-A-Rama-Rama by Wendy Tremayne. The organiser attended one such event in New York in 2005, and was instantly hooked on swopping.

Recycling and swopping clothes is great because you get to empty your wardrobe and get new things to wear - for absolutely free! It is also an ethical and environmentally-conscious way of getting new clothes, which cuts down on waste (see Why Swop? for more details). Lastly, it also ensures that it benefits people in need as well, by donating all admission fees to charity. So make sure you come down for SWOP!
